Additive Injection System

AST make, additive injection systems / blending systems use the best-in-class technology for measurement and controlled delivery of additives / blends. The process is fully automated and incorporates all safety interlocks which ensures that the dispensing of additive / blend is accurate, measurable, safe and secure. Integrity of the operation throughout the injection cycle is also ensured.

Operation & Functions

  • The ratio of additive / blend to the fuel is configured as a recipe in Advanced Sys-tek’s additive controller.
  • As soon as the fuel loading starts additive product or blend product is injected into the fuel at the set ratio. The injection could be intermittent or continuous according to the configuration.
  • The injection or blending activity is carried out through out the fuel loading cycle. This ensures precise quantity of additive is injected.

Features

  • Uses state of the art Additive / Blend Controller. It is possible to configure various ratios of additive to fuel.  The required Additive / Blend to Fuel ratio is configured in the Additive controller as a recipe.
  • The additive controller is versatile enough to get input from the Electronic Flow Meter used in loading of fuel.
  • The controller drives the pump to generate the necessary flow rate of the Additive to be injected in the fuel. Seamless operation and controlled injection of additive is a unique feature of the additive / blend injection system.
  • The injection mechanism consists of a flow meter and a solenoid valve. This additive system dispenses the exact quantity of additive configured in the controller. Unique feature of such a system is that the quantity of additive injected is logged and inventory of additive is well managed.
